Dinosaurs in the Zoo?

Hello there,
I know it looks real, but don't worry its not, I will not be able to write this post if it was. Before we went here, my son and I visited a zoo in the Philippines, and I think that was the 1st zoo he would visit. He was so excited coming there, and kept asking me on car, "are we there yet?". Upon arrival he was so happy, we entered the place, and he was amazed as he saw different types of animals, and we enjoyed as well, seeing him amazed, and curiously listening to the tour guide.
However, during in the middle of our tour, he asked "where is the dinosaurs?" we were surprised, paused for a couple of second, and then laughed. We do not know what to answer, as we do not want to disappoint him (I think ever parent will agree not to disappoint their little ones), so what we did is we passed the question to the tour guide. He as well is looking at us for answers, and we forced him to break to him the bad news that these dinosaurs are already extinct.
My son was so sad and disappointed, he can't accept it that he will not see a dinosaur. And little do we know that the dinosaurs was his main reason why he is excited to go to a zoo. Even we tried to convinced him, that some of the animals there was a surviving family of dinosaur (as told by the tour guide). After our tour in the zoo, we educated him that those are extinct already.
Blessedly in their visit here in Dubai, is the same time that these Dinosaur park opened. Finally he, was able to see dinosaurs, appreciated the extinct creatures, in their huge sizes, how they roar, and their distinct appearances.
It made me think, of those recently extinct animals, and endangered to be extinct. Will the next generation will be sad and disappointed also when visiting a zoo, that there only few species remaining. Well let us hope not, comment down below if you had similar experience with your children.
